In Memory of Keiray Da Gama

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of our beloved Keiray, a cherished daughter, sister, and aunt, who sadly passed away at the tender age of 12.

Keiray was born prematurely at just 28 weeks and faced many health challenges throughout her life, including pulmonary hypertension type 3, chronic lung disease, lower respiratory tract infections, and an atrial septal defect.

She endured more than most, spending much of her short life in and out of hospitals and even enduring four comas. Despite her struggles, Keiray was a bright, caring, and funny little girl who loved deeply and brought joy to everyone around her.

We are reaching out to you, our extended community, to help us honor Keiray’s memory by giving her a proper resting place. We wish to provide her with a gravestone and headstone, Insha’Allah, as well as support her family during this incredibly difficult time.
