In memory of Kaylee and on behalf of her children
Donation protected
As many of you know, Kaylee recently lost her battle with addiction. What you may not know is that Kaylee had a direct impact to how we treat opioid addiction today. Kaylee was the very first person to be injected with Vivitrol prior to release from a jail. She was the first person in her area to receive treatment at a Faith Based facility. Her story went on to be shared on the front page of the Toledo Blade in an editorial titled "Criminalizing Addition" paving the way for how many began to be and are treated today for this disease. She never knew the volume of people she helped, but, now it is time for us to step up and help her. We are raising money for her immediate family to cover the cost of funeral expenses and education for her three children, Jaxon (15), Maddox (10) and Rowyn (3).
