In memory of Gigi Amundson, 20

Christmas will never be the same. Gigi passed away in the early morning hours of December 26th. She had been fighting off the flu over the last couple of days, and she died peacefully in her sleep that night. She never felt well enough to open Christmas presents, and they remain under the tree. Gigi was only 20 years old.

Gigi grew up in both Pleasanton, CA and Reno, NV. She had a fierce and passionate spirit that made everyone want to be closer to her. She had an infectious laugh. She loved her friends and family with all her heart, and she had a lifelong passion for dance. 

In lieu of flowers, we are raising funds to donate in Gigi’s name to both Tiffany’s Dance Academy of Livermore, where she danced for many years, and the Bankhead Theatre, where she once performed in the Nutcracker Ballet. Our hope is that other little girls like Gigi will be able to follow their dreams too. 

We will miss her crinkled nose when she smiles from her heart. Rest peacefully, sweet G
