It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of my beloved mother-in-law Valerie Akins-Long who was called home to be with her Ultimate Father on Sunday, August 3rd. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. We are heartbroken by this loss.
As we navigate this incredibly difficult time, my husband Jonathan and I are faced with the steep costs of a funeral and memorial service. Val deserved a beautiful and dignified farewell, and we want to honor her in a way that truly celebrates her life.
