Our brother, Ato Estifanos Haile, after a period of illness, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Ato Estifanos Haile was a loving husband to W/ro Selam Haile, and a proud and deeply loving father of four children: Natu, Evan, Yobi, and Hiyabi.

Our brother Ato Estifanos Haile was a compassionate, caring, and humble man — equally respectful to the great and the small, and embraced everyone with kindness. He was a good-hearted man of God, full of goodness.

Even though our brother Estifanos endured various pains and sufferings during his illness, he was never heard complaining or grumbling. Instead, he always praised and thanked God. His face reflected joy and hope. Even in such difficult circumstances, he comforted and encouraged many others, and prayed for them.

Despite his condition, he never stopped inquiring about and showing love to his beloved church, his brothers and sisters, and his friends back home. Whenever someone visited him, they would leave feeling encouraged and strengthened.

Especially during the most difficult times of his illness, he placed his full faith in the Almighty God, and accepted everything with gratitude and joy. On Thursday, May 28, 2026, he successfully completed his earthly journey, and, with honor, transitioned from this temporary earthly tent to his eternal home in heaven.

We pray that the Lord God may embrace our brother in His bosom. To his beloved children and the family he left behind, may God grant them strength and comfort, and may we all be a source of support for them!

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day — and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”

ሓውና ኣቶ እስቲፋኖስ ሃይለ ብዝሓደሮ ሕማም ብሓሙስ 28 ግንቦት 2026 ዓ.ም.ፈ. ኣብ ከተማ ኤድመንተን ኣልበርታ ካናዳ ብሰላም ዓሪፉ። ኣቶ እስቲፋኖስ ሃይለ ብዓል ቤታ ንወ/ሮ ሰላም ሃይለን ኣቦ ኣርባዕተ ኣዝዩ ዝፈትዎምን ዘፍቅሮምን ደቁ ናቱ፣ ኤቨን፣ ዮቢን ሂያብን እዩ ነይሩ።

ሓውና ኣቶ እስቲፋኖስ ሃይለ ፈቃር፡ ሓላይ፡ ሕውስ፡ ምስ ዓቢ ዓቢ፡ ምስ ንእሽቶ ንእሽቶ፡ ንኹሉ ዝሓቁፍ

ለዋህ ልቢ ዝነበሮ ሰናይ ናይ እግዝኣብሄር ሰብ እዩ ኔይሩ፡፡

ሓውና እስቲፋኖስ ኣብቲ ናይ ሕማም ጊዜኡ ብዝተፈላለዩ ቃንዛን ስቃይን ይሓልፍ እኳ እንተነበረ፡ ንኻልኢት

እኳ ትኹን ከማርርን ከጒረምርምን ተሰሚዑ ኣይፈልጥን፡፡ ወትሩ እግዚኣብሄር ይመስገን ኣብ ኣንደበቱ

ትረኽቦ፡፡ ሕጒስን ትስፍውን ህይወት ኣብ ገጹ ይንበብ፡፡ ኣብ ከምዚ ኹነታት ከሎ ንብዙሓት የጸናንዕን ስለ

ኻልኦት ይጽልን ነበረ፡፡ ኣብ ከምዚ ኩነታት ከሎ ደሃይ ኣዝዩ ዘፍቅራ ቤተክርስትያኑን ኣሕዋቱን ኣሓቱን ፈተውቱን ካብ ምሕታት ዓዲ ኣይወዓለን፡፡ ከተበርትዖ ኬድካ በርቲዕካ ትምለስ፡፡ ከተጸናንዖ ኬድካ ተጸናኒዕካ ትምለስ፡፡

ብፍላይ ኣብቲ ጽንኩር ናይ ሕማም ጊዜኡ እምንትኡ ኣብ እግዚኣብሄር ኣምላኽ ጌሩ ንኹሉ ብምስጋናን ሓጎስን ተቀበሎ፡ እንሆ ናይ ምድሪ መገሻኡ ብዓወት ዛዚሙ ካብዛ ግዚያዊት ናይ ድንኳን ቤቱ፡ ናብታ

ዘልኣለማዊት ናይ ሰማይ ቤቱ ሓሙስ 28 ለካቲት፡ 2026 ብኽብሪ ተሰጋጊሩ፡፡

ንሓውና እግዚኣብሄር ኣምላኽ ኣብ ሕቅፍኡ ከንብሮ እናተመነና፡ ነቶም ዘፍቕሮም ደቁን ዝተኾልፎም ስድራቤቱን፡ ዓቅምና ዘፍቕዶ ብምሕጋዝ ተስፋ ንኹኖም !

“ሰናይ ገድሊ ተጋዲለ፡ እቲ ጕያ ወዲኤ፡ ነታ እምነት ሐልየ። ደጊምሲ ጐይታይ፡ ንሱ እቲ ጻድቕ ፈራዲ፡ በታ

መዓልቲ እቲኣ ዚህበኒ ኣኽሊል ጽድቂ ተነቢሩለይ አሎ። እዚ ግና ነቶም ምግሃዱ ዜፍቅሩ ዅላቶም ድማ እዩ

እምበር፡ ንኣይ ጥራይ ኣይኰነን።”
