In loving memory of COVID VICTIM, Danilo Javier

Donation protected

In loving memory of Danilo Javier.

Husband of Venchita Javier and Father of Michelle Javier. Danilo passed due to complications from COVID-19. He was hospitalized at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey for
19 days. On April 22, 2020 at 3am, he passed away without his family and loved ones at his side.

Danilo was a very loving father and husband. He worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service for over 20 years. He was a joyful, honest, kind hearted, and family man. He always tried to keep a smile on his face and spread that happiness to every person he met. Danilo leaves behind his wife, Venchita, and daughter, Michelle.

The beginning of the year has been very difficult for the Javier family. They have endured heartache and loss consecutively in a short amount of time. Their grandmother (Ina) passed away in early January and his brother, Apolonio Javier, also passed away in March.

I’ve started this fundraiser in honor of Danilo's memory, to help ease the family's burden of funeral expenses, and support them as much as we can through these troubled times. We truly appreciate all of your generosity, love, thoughts, and prayers.

Thank you kindly.

Dad,

I can not even begin to describe the emptiness I feel. Flashbacks of April 4th — Your oxygen level dropped to 88% for the first time and we knew it was time to take you to the hospital. I knew how scared you were of hospitals, so I tried to comfort you as best as I can. As tears rolled down my eyes, I hugged you & said “I love you dad, everything will be ok.”

My heart broke as mom & I watched you go through those ER doors by yourself cuz the security guards wouldn’t let us through.

For 18 days you fought for your life, alone .... & that is what breaks me. Never could I have ever imagined that my dad would be spending his last moments without my mom & I physically by his side but instead, through an iPad screen. Today that has become a terrifying & sad reality for me and my mom.

Dad, there will never be enough words to describe the love, appreciation, & thankfulness I have for you. You have ALWAYS supported me, stuck by me through good decisions and bad (my kakampi), & accepted me through my worst without judgment.

You always had a tough exterior but you were the most loving father, husband, brother, uncle, god father & friend. I will forever cherish our wonderful memories together & I will forever keep you close to my heart. You were without a doubt the BEST DAD anyone could ever ask for and for that reason I am truly truly blessed. You are apart of me and I trust you and God will give us the strength to withstand all this pain we have.
