In Loving Memory of Carson Ingham
Donation protected
With terrible news of losing a great guy over the holiday break, I would like to start a fundraiser to help support Carson’s fiancé, Nicole. This fund will hopefully help assist making memorial planning easier during this very difficult time. Carson was a Local 506 brother and a key member of our Seaspan family. I would like to extend this go-fund-me through our company and beyond.
Carson Ingham started his welding career at Seaspan in 2015 as an apprentice, later achieving his welding Red Seal in 2019. During his career he worked in many SoCs while making connections and friendships throughout the yard. In recent years, with his home base being in SoC 5/10 as a Burner/Machine Operator.
Being a gentle giant, Carson was always at work with a caring energy and took pride in making the work day fun and enjoyable for all. He brought people together by cracking a joke whenever he could, always a team player by contributing his skills/life knowledge and often sharing up his beautiful home grown crops from his family home in Pemberton. Carson had an open heart to all, vocalizing and offering his support to anyone around him that was struggling or in a time of need.
Carson on his signature handlebar moustache:
“If you can't laugh at yourself you are taking life way too serious. Do stupid stuff and have as much fun as possible. Life's too short to be up tight. Treat everyone how you want to be treated and spread the love.”
It’s been an honour witnessing Carson bringing communities together. Hearing his many stories of living life to its absolute fullest. An adventure seeking soul. Gone way too soon. May he rest in peace, or may he ride away on his motorcycle into the Sea to Sky sunset.
Thank you for your contribution big or small. Our dearest condolences to all his family and friends.
