Hurricane victim Marilyn

This is about Hurricane Harvey victim Marilyn. She lives in South Texas, and got flooded for the first time in over 20 years. Some of her horses could not be rescued. Her house was flooded with about 3 feet of water. Both her and her husband pickup trucks were totally under water.
Marilyn posted this on the 29th of August: Yesterday I posted pics of the safe pasture I moved my horses to, to escape the flooding. Less than 24 hours later..... This. They are safe now....but what an ordeal. I thought they were going to drown. The water was over my head and the current so strong. I could have never made it without the help of some good Samaritans. We lost both trucks, house had 3' of water in it, if not more. And we lost Hobo and Moses, two of our donkeys. I have never seen Chocolate Bayou flood like this. I have lived here for 20 years and never had water on the place. I am in shock and have not yet recovered from almost losing the horses and losing the donkeys
Moni again: We hope to get her some help to replace some of her losses.
My name is Moni Bieser.
I live in Oklahoma City
Marilyn is a good friend of mine
Hopefully Marilyn and her husband can replace their pickup trucks, replace any apliances lost in the flood, and get feed for their horses since everything was washed away in the flooding current. In the picture of the house you can see the rope, that was used to keep from being swept away when they got the horses out of the pens.
Thank you for any contributions you can send.
