Hurricane financial assistance
Donation protected

Sasha, Victor and their two children, Noelia and Emelie live in Lake Charles, Louisiana and have suffered major property and income loss following Hurricane Laura. Before the storm Victor was a grounds manager for a local church and Sasha was a manager for a local salon. Due to hurricane damage, Sasha is now unemployed and they are currently living with her parents Sasha and I spoke and she told me they were able to salvage clothing, shoes and a couple of pieces of furniture. As seen in the above pictures their home and car are complete losses. They owned their vehicle and only carried liability on it so replacing it will be nearly impossible for them for the unforeseeable future.
I can personally vouch for this hard working, faithful and loving family. They are currently wiping away the dust and trying to make a plan to rebuild their lives. I can say from first hand experience that this takes time----a lot of time, and it takes money beyond their means to make this happen especially now that Sasha is unemployed. Sasha told me "We are finding the positives everyday and have so much to be grateful for". "We are overwhelmed with appreciation to those who are reaching out and we praise God for the love we receive daily".
My family is raising money to help this struggling family begin to get back on their feet following this monster storm. I would like to specifically help them with the funds needed for a down payment for a replacement car, to replace needed furniture when they move into a rental and to help them with the many expenses that need to be covered until Sasha is employed again. No amount is too small and this wonderful family will be forever grateful. We really have an opportunity to make a direct difference here. Please consider donating and I will keep you posted and updated on their rebuilding. Thank you. Jen
