Finding Potential, X10 Archery: Secure Our Future
Donation protected
Here at X10 Archery Academy we believe that learning the art of archery is a foundation for developing well-rounded individuals. Add in essential life skills, and we create a powerful combination of critically thinking, capable leaders who can build strong communities.
We are in our 10th year of developing archers from every walk of life and every ability. We support the Houston community and beyond with scholarships, food drives, PE credits, complimentary life-skill classes for members, and more. We have survived floods, hurricanes, and a pandemic for a reason... we are impacting lives. We have taught the blind to shoot a bow; wheelchair archers to win medals; created mental resilience in many; provided a home and community for many, including those who have nothing outside of archery.
2023 was a hard year for many businesses, including X10 Archery Academy. As belts tighten, we lost several members, which is a mainstay of our income. We incorporated the Academy as a non-profit in August 2023, pending 501(c)3. This gives us a limited ability to apply for grants, which is an ongoing project.
We need your support so we can continue to serve the community.
Here are the immediate needs.
- Operating Expenses - To maintain the quality of our offerings. This ensures our lights stay on, our operational systems remain in place, and our team is compensated.
Longer Term Needs (not included in this campaign)
- ADA Compliance - A budget of $40,000 to design, remodel and create an ADA compliant bathroom and shower.
- Beautification - A budget of $150,000 for new flooring, painting, landscaping, and signage.
- Program Development - Our vision is huge. We need people and resources.
Your generous donation, whether $5 or $500, makes a significant difference. If you're unable to contribute financially, sharing our campaign with friends and family or volunteering your time can also help us tremendously.
