Help for Neal & Michelle
Donation protected
Neal has been bucking the odds for over three years. Two years after being given 6 months, he made the decision to stop chemo. They then gave him 6 months again. 8 months later he and Michelle took a cruise.
It has been almost 3 and a half years since the initial diagnosis and Neal has now moved into a hospice in Reading, MA. They have told him that he will be there for 1 to 2 weeks. Knowing Neal, I'm expecting that to stretch out a few more weeks.
He is given 6 free days at the hospice but then is charged $250 per day after that. This along with the funeral expenses, non covered medical expenses and the fact that the cake business is closed for at least three weeks with no income coming in, I've starting this fund to help relieve some of the financial burden in Neal's final days and those just after.
