Hope and Healing for Larry
Donation protected
Larry lives with a debilitating condition called gastroparesis. He was diagnosed with this condition in 2013 due to a side effect of a chemotherapeutic drug he had while undergoing cancer treatment in 2011. Over the years, he has had many medications, surgeries, and gastric pacemakers in attempt to relieve symptoms, but ultimately, these measures were not successful. In 2016, Larry had 90% of his stomach removed, and later that year, a feeding tube to supplement nutrition. In 2017, a central port was placed, so he could get infusions as well as TPN (another supplemental nutrition). He suffered from a life threatening sepsis infection this month due to a port infection, and TPN is no longer an option.
Every day, Larry suffers with debilitating nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and fatigue, He's unable to meet caloric and nutritional needs through his feeding tube or with food because of these symptoms.
He has an appointment with a specialist at Stanford next month, and they are praying she can provide hope.
The medical expenses are quickly adding up and this family needs our help. Please consider helping this family in need. No donation is too small.
Larry has so much to live for, including two beautiful daughters, who are 2 and 5. He wants to live a long, fulfilled life serving others and raising his family.
God bless you, thank you.
