To know Jarret Eisenhower was to love him and laugh with him. Whether you knew him through work, one of his various projects on wheels, or were fortunate enough to be a close friend or family member, there is no doubt that his heart outshines everything about him. It outshines the mullet sticking out below his hat, his booming voice, and his chunky boots and clunky belt buckle. Jarret was selfless, charming, hilarious, charismatic and truly larger than life. His humor could disarm even the most serious sticklers, and he left a lasting impression on everyone who was lucky enough to meet him. Jarret would have given you the shirt off his back whether it was clean or covered in grease from working on some sort of motor. He touched the lives of so many people in so many communities he was part of by being extroverted, exuberant, and just the right balance between bitterly sarcastic and heartwarmingly kind. Ethan Boger and I are raising funds as close friends of the Eisenhower family so that they can focus on taking the time they need to cherish his life. Funds will be going directly from Ethan to Vicki and Gavin to alleviate the financial burden of memorial services.
