Our beloved mother, Teresa Chukwueke, was truly larger than life—loud, loving, and endlessly selfless. As the youngest and only girl among five brothers, she was deeply cherished, yet she stood fiercely independent. Teresa raised my brother and I on her own, pouring her strength, love, and determination into our lives. She was the heart of our family, and her unwavering support shaped who we are today.

In 2021, Teresa was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and given just six months to live. But true to her spirit, she fought bravely for much longer—enduring countless rounds of chemotherapy and radiation with grace and courage. During her illness, she was unable to work, and without insurance, our family faced mounting medical bills. The emotional and financial strain was overwhelming, but Teresa’s resilience inspired us every single day.

As we now grieve this unimaginable loss, we’re also navigating the significant costs of her medical care and burial. We want to honor Teresa’s life with a service that reflects her vibrant soul and the boundless love she gave to everyone around her.
