Maitlin Doyle Craig, 30, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away March 3, 2025, at her home. She was born on May 29, 1994, in Seymour, IN, the only child of Vicki Doyle and Richard Craig. She was a graduate of Garrett High School in Garrett, Indiana. Maitlin was larger than life and was known for her quick wit, free spirit, and of course, her beauty.
Growing up, Maitlin loved spending time with her grandparents. “Gram” and Maitlin shared a love for fashion, shopping, beauty, and style. She loved the time spent with family at the family lake house on Lake Wawasee. She was very artistic and loved to express herself through drawings, paintings, fashion, design, and music. Maitlin was beautiful inside and out and made anyone around her feel welcome and loved.
Maitlin was born on Race Day and loved the month of May. The whole month was her birthday, and she loved to go to the race with her family and attend the concerts in the Snake Pit. She loved to attend any and all of the music festivals she could. Maitlin’s love for life and exploring herself took her on many adventures, one being relocating to Maui, where she spent almost a year exploring life and all its beauty.
Maitlin’s purpose in life happened on October 6, 2020, when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Margot Suzanne. Maitlin loved being a mother and learning everything she could to make sure she was giving her daughter the best of everything. Maitlin will continue to shine and emanate her beauty through Margot.
Maitlin is survived by her beloved daughter, Margot Suzanne Chambers; mother, Vicki Doyle (Jen); brother, Jason Craig; John Craig; sister, Sydney Reynolds (Chad); nephews, Oliver and Winston Reynolds; grandfather, Morey David Doyle; Margot’s father, Justin Chambers; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
