On July 1, our brother, Joshua Strong, celebrated his 30th birthday. Just weeks later, on July 24, our lives changed forever when Joshua was tragically shot and killed while trying to protect the people he loved most—his family.

Joshua’s courage, selflessness, and unconditional love defined the kind of man he was. He never hesitated to put others before himself, and that is how we will always remember him. While our hearts are shattered by this unimaginable loss, we find comfort in knowing that he lived with honor, strength, and a heart full of love. His legacy of bravery, compassion, and devotion to his family will continue to live on in everyone who knew and loved him.

As our family tries to navigate this devastating tragedy, we are also facing the unexpected financial burden of laying Joshua to rest. We are asking for help to give him the beautiful and dignified farewell he deserves.

All donations will go directly toward funeral and memorial expenses, as well as helping our family with the immediate financial needs that come with such a sudden loss.
