Honoring Jennifer's Light: Family Support Fund

In 2023 Jennifer Smith was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. After 16 months of her battling harder and stronger than anyone ever has, Thursday morning she was again rushed to the emergency room.

Since her diagnosis she has been through multiple surgeries, colonoscopies, endoscopies, and countless trips to the hospital. She has endured radiation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, a thoracentesis, two paracentesis, and enough pills and drugs to open her own pharmacy. She has thrown up more times than we can remember, and lost, and gained back, and lost again over 50 lbs.

She has been on deaths door on multiple occasions and only through the grace of God and miracles is she still here. And through all of this misery and suffering, tears and pain, she still radiates light and brightens every room she walks into. She has been a beacon and lighthouse to everyone she is around. Always optimistic, always cheerful, always happy. Her primary concern throughout all of this has always been for her children and husband, never about herself to a fault. Everyone she has come into contact with is better because of her.

Jen passed away peacefully on January 23rd surrounded by those who meant most to her in the world, her husband and children.
