Help Hannah and Kati pay to put their father to rest.

My father did not have an end of life plan or savings. I am a college student and my sister is a young mother. We have been restricted from saying goodbye to our father or cremating his body due to the hefty funeral home fees that we cannot afford on our own. We kindly ask for the support of the community so we may set our father body to rest.

If anyone lived a hella of a life, it was Dave. My father was loved by many--to some, "Red Eye Rabbit" "Uncle Dave" or "Daveo." He was a wild, adventure-seeking, free spirited soul that vibrated with love and imagination. He was also captivating story-teller--even if you didn't want to hear it!

He cared for others with his entire heart; he would literally take the shirt off his back for a brother in need. I watched it many times. He made others feel loved and valued, no matter what their status was. He had his struggles and pains, but it never changed him. Never.

David had been dealing with congestive heart failure over the last year and a half. Nonetheless, he lived his life up until his last moments. He fell into cardiac arrest on May 10th and passed at 11:41pm. The day before he went on a hike, picking mushrooms with one of his buddies. Totally winded, but stoked I'm sure.

Unfortunately, he did not have an end-of-life plan or any savings. My dad deserves a cremation, service, and celebration of life--and I humbly ask his friends and family to assist us in making that happen. Please consider donating to help alleviate this financial burden if you are able to.
