We are reaching out today to ask for your support for a true local hero – my Dad; Glenn Currence, affectionately known as "Chase Manhattan,The Mayor" of Bushwick, Brooklyn. Chase has always been a pillar of our community, a man who’s given his time, heart, and energy to the people around him. Born and raised in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, Chase went on to serve our country as a proud member of the United States Army. He’s been a source of strength, wisdom, and positivity for all who know him.

After serving in the Army, Chase returned to the place he loved most, Brooklyn. He has spent his life not just surviving but thriving, becoming an irreplaceable figure in the community. Whether you need a helping hand, some good advice, or just a smile, Chase was always there.

Unfortunately, Chase is now facing some difficult challenges. After years of selfless service to his country and community, he needs our help. As life takes unexpected turns, Chase is currently experiencing financial difficulties due to sudden and rapid passing. It’s time for us to give back to the man who has given so much to all of us.

We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to help Chase get laid to rest in the way that he deserves and ensure his family has the resources they need to move forward with dignity and stability. Your donations will go directly to cover funeral and burial expenses.
