Honor Avery's Spirit by Aiding Her Loved Ones

It is with heavy heart that our beloved friend Avery Qin (秦朝晖), 51, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024, after a six-years courageous battle with cancer.

Avery is survived by her husband Johnny Wong (黄健汉) and her beloved son Jonathon Wong（黄仁瑧）. Avery was the youngest child in her family, her sisters Qing(秦青) and Hong（秦霄红）in China were not able to obtain visa to visit her before she passed away. Avery was preceded in death by her parents.

Avery is remembered by her beautiful looking, gentle heart, always polite and friendly manner by many friends in the community. Her optimistic and undefeatable spirit during her cancer treatment constantly impressed those close by. Her endurance during all kinds of hardship, including physical and financial hardship, were expressed as gratitude instead of anxious by herself, sometimes even with sense of humor.

Avery is a full heart devoting mother; she wished to go back home to be at JonJon’s (Jonathon) side in her last moment. Avery stopped working before her cancer diagnose 6 years ago. Since then, her husband Johnny went through two times of layoff due to industry’s reshaping, and therefore they faced losing of health insurance for Avery from time to time. Johnny tried everything he could, they sold their only other house to cover bills. Johnny eventually set up his own construction company just couple months before Avery’s passing. Johnny’s company at this particular starting moment, not only needs him, but also needs cash flow to cover the monthly construction worker labor cost before the company can make profits.

Avery left no life term insurance, but a loving heart to her son and her husband.

Avery was visited by many loving friends and family from near and far during the weeks prior to her passing.

秦朝晖是一个全心全意的母亲；她在生命的最后时刻希望能够回到家中，以陪伴在儿子JonJon（Jonathon）的身边。六年前，在确诊癌症前，秦朝晖已停止了工作。从那时起，她的丈夫黄健汉（Johnny）因行业重组而经历了两次裁员，他们因此曾多次面临失去健康保险的险境。Johnny竭尽全力照顾，甚至卖掉了他们的唯一的另一处房产来支付账单。黄健汉（Johnny）最终在秦朝晖去世前的几个月得以创办了属于自己的建筑公司，满怀希望地为家庭努力着。然而在这个特殊的起步阶段，朝晖离去了。现在，Johnny的公司不仅需要他亲力亲为，还需要现金流来支付工人的月度劳动力成本，直到公司过渡到盈利阶段；他的家也需要他需找墓地，处理后事，安抚儿子。

秦朝晖未留下任何人寿保险，但她为儿子和丈夫留下了满满的爱。

在去世前的几周，秦朝晖接受了许多亲朋好友的探访，大家纷纷赶来探望。秦朝晖的告别仪式将于2024年12月13日星期五上午9点至11点，在位于芝加哥西26街470号的Dalcamo Funeral Home举行，之后将进行安葬。
