Support for Patricia's Final Journey

Please continue share, we are half way there and my gratitude is beyond anything I ever expected. Your support has help me in so many ways, but we are not done yet. Just knowing so many care has lifted me up and resolved several unexpected debts. My mom is getting closer to getting to her final resting place because of your kindness and generosity. May God bless you all for any support you have given me, whether it was a call, a visit, helping me clean and get rid of so much trash, or financially helped. On May 5, 2025, I faced the heartbreaking task of saying goodbye to my mom. She left behind no life insurance, very little in her bank account, two beloved birds, and two dogs, along with a home burdened by a mortgage. My mom had moved to a lovely ground-level home in Trail Creek, Indiana, where she spent 21 months creating memories. During that time, she shared her final wishes with me, and while I promised to honor them, I was uncertain about how to proceed. Since her passing, I have encountered numerous challenges and expenses while caring for her remains, looking after her animals, and addressing various issues with the house before having to put it on the market. Given that she only lived in that home for a short period, there isn’t much equity left to fulfill what they envisioned as their paradise. My mom, Patricia Kijek, and her husband, Jay Kijek, expressed a desire for their remains to be taken to their favorite fishing spot near Bemidji, MN. I’m reaching out to family members and loved ones, hoping to gather support and share in the journey of honoring their memory together. After much encouragement from friends and family, I finally decided to create a GoFundMe page. It's a difficult step for me, as I feel uncomfortable and vulnerable asking for help, but I know it’s necessary. Your understanding and kindness during this difficult time mean the world to me.
