Hiking The Appalachian Trail With Cystic Fibrosis.

Making History as the First person with cystic fibrosis to complete the Appalachian Trail. Hi, my name is Colton. I’m 27, I have Cystic Fibrosis and I’m attempting to be the first with cystic fibrosis to complete the Appalachian Trail. My main reason for being out here is to leave an impact on people and to inspire others to go live life while you still can. Cystic Fibrosis is a terminal illness that has no cure. The disease causes long term damage to the lungs, and so by hiking, it opens up my airways so I can breath a lot easier. The life expectancy, depending on how healthy one is with C.F., isn’t very long. The money donated will be used towards achieving this goal. It’ll be used towards gear replacements if I need them, food, and a hotel or hostel every now and than for when I take a day off. So let’s make history. Any donation is appreciated. I also wanted to know that anything that goes over the amount will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help fund research for a cure.
