As an Aunt, it breaks my heart to even be writing these words. My nephew Mikal was only 22 years old when his life was taken from us far too soon by a senseless act of violence. He was so full of life, always smiling, and had a gift for making everyone laugh. He was amazing with kids, patient and playful, and had a way of lighting up any room he walked into. Mikal was so respectful and an old soul. He was always dancing, moving to the music no matter where he was, and it was impossible not to smile watching him. Our family is devastated by this unexpected loss. We thank you all for your kind words, prayers and support as we navigate through this painful time.
