Helps Mehdi to fight his cancer

My Brother Mehdi Shafiei is a refugee in Turkey with his family. He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain tumor anaplastic astrocytoma (grade III) that has spread to his brain. He is losing his ability to walk and a part of his vision. So far, doctors have conducted several tests and scans including full-body MRI, brain scans, and surgical removal and microscopic evaluation (biopsy) of tissue from a tumor that confirm diagnosis. The doctors are conducting more tests to decide the course of treatment for him. So far they have mentioned brain surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.

Despite his diagnosis, Mehdi’s main focus remains the wellbeing of his wife and his daughter fifteen years old.  He is not giving up.  He is ready to fight this head on.  That being said, he needs the support from those around him.  Unfortunately, his current health benefits will not be enough to cover the cost of his treatment, for which he needs to stop his job multiple times a month. The purpose of this Go Fund Me page is to help soften the financial blow that Mehdi and his wife will endure for the foreseeable future.  Every little bit will go a long way as they travel down the inevitably tough road ahead.
