HelpMyMum-URGENT MEDICAL BILLS in the Philippines
Donation protected
Hi my name is Zeny, daughter of Fely who suffered a stroke while home alone on new years eve in my small village of sta margarita baggao, cagayan in the Philippines.
My mother was found the next morning by my cousin alone and paralysed on the floor New Year's Day.
My Mother also suffered a punctured lung, severe bruising and blood clotting as a result of the stroke and fall and went over 12 hours without any urgent care.
No public hospitals were able to accept her due to being extremely full and understaffed. With no other choice and needing to take action immediately my (6) siblings and I had to admit her to a private hospital.
Coming from a very small village with no stable income and no health insurance or care covered by the government my siblings and I are trying our best to come up with the funds in order to keep my Mum in the hospital to give her the best chance of overcoming this.
Every day we are trying to admit her into the public system as with private hospitals they often say "No Money, No Treatment"
1 week alone is costing my siblings and I 60,000 pesos ($4,500 AUD) which you can imagine in a third-world country/small village is hard to fund on our own.
I am not one to usually ask for help so publicly like this however it would honestly mean the world to Likaki and I to give my mum the best chance of surviving this and If enough funds are raised I would also like to fly there with my family so my Mother can meet my youngest child Kassidy in person and it's been over 10 years since I have seen her myself.
Thank you in advance, Zeny, Likaki and Siblings xx
