Hello! I'm Mattie!

This is my page to raise money for travelling to the World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027.

I have been doing scouting for five years now, and it is a really important part of my life. I achieved my Cub Scout silver award before moving up to Scouts, and hopefully before the Jamboree, I will have achieved my Gold award!

Going to Poland is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and to be one of only 36 scouts representing Leicestershire is a huge honour. I had to attend a selection camp with 100 other scouts and explorers to be selected to go, so I was thrilled to be chosen. But now I have the huge task of raising £3850! I have done many local scout camps and have really enjoyed them - to be able to go on an international scale camp with thousands of other scouts is incredible. Meeting scouts from around world, experiencing different food and cultures and immersing myself in new and exciting activities are all reasons why I signed up to go. I am going to be taking part in lots of fundraising activities, as will my scout group who are very kindly supporting me, and I will detail anything I do on here.
