This fund is to support my sweet sister and brother-in-law and their family. Just last evening, Cass had a heart attack at age 56. We are all so grateful that he was able to receive the care that he needed in time and his life has been spared. A stent was laparoscopically placed and while he is feeling much better, he has a long recovery and a lot of life changes to make.
Unfortunately, neither Cindy nor Cass have health insurance, as it was too expensive for them to afford through Cass' employer. I would love to ease the stress of his recovery by assisting them with covering the costs of their medical bills, rehab, and ongoing medications - we will not know those costs for a while still, but I'm sure anything will help!
Their beautiful daughters, Marlea (20) and Harmony (18), are hard workers and doing their best to love and support their parents. Harmony came home from college at Western Carolina State, where she is attending with a nearly full scholarship!
Cass has stood by his family through thick and thin, often working two jobs to support them. He has a heart of gold. The money you give will remind him and his family that they are not alone on this journey, are deeply loved by many, and oh so very worthy of getting this second chance at life!
Your prayers and encouragements are very welcome as they bring him home and prepare for a life-changing recovery.
