Help For Kim
Kim Abkemeier - Lizanich A.K.A (Auntie Kimmy)
Our dear friend Kim has recently fallen onto terrible news. On June 10th, 2017 after a biopsy was done at University Hospital Kim was diagnosed with stage 4 Squamous cell Carcinoma cancer... Kim is a dear friend of my boss...
At the age of 11, Kim became a full company member with the "Ohio Ballet" and began touring the United States, Europe, and South America. She performed lead roles in works choreographed by Heinz Poll (39 works) George Balanchine & Robert Geoffrey.
After dancing with the "Ohio Ballet" for 18 years, Kim joined the "Miami City Ballet" under the direction of Edward Villella. Four thousand girls nationwide had auditioned for the one soloist contract that Kim received. While in the "Miami City Ballet" Kim continued to perform lead roles in works created by Edward Villella, George Balanchine, & Robert Geoffrey. Upon returning to Cleveland, Kim trained Olympic hopefuls in gymnastics, ice skating, and became the owner and director of her own dance group.
She must undergo surgery that will require removal of her jaw, teeth, 1/2 of her tongue and her lymph nodes. She will require a feeding tube and a breathing tube for approximately 3 months. Following surgery Chemotherapy and radiation will be required to be assured all the cancer is gone. Obviously, she will not be able to work at all.
Kim lives alone, prayers and money are needed desperately for expenses, medical bills & prescriptions.
Much love to all of God's children & the Universe
