Help me car, so I can job!

Last time we met, I was facing a tuition bill I couldn't pay, and it was kind of a dire situation, and you all helped me out greatly, to the tune of I couldn't even imagine it would ever happen. This time, there is a promise of me actually being able to pay all my bills for myself forever.
Why?
You helped me graduate! I'm a Stanford alumnus now! THANK YOU!
There is one last issue here. On very little money and a lot of help (couchsurfing, food, shoulders to cry on), I am in the final round of interviews for a tutoring position that is looking very promising - updates will come here - but I need a vehicle to take the position.
The position is full time, pays appx. $33/hr, and is in a strong field for me. But I can't take the job without a car. I had no idea how I might acquire a car with zero money and zero stuff to trade. I completely tapped myself out to graduate, which is why you didn't hear from this GoFundMe for my last quarter.
Enter strange opportunity: someone at Stanford is willing to lease their car to me for a $400 deposit and $400/month. I will need insurance, which will be a bulk payment of $100ish to get it started - I am a cheap person to insure. I have zero gas money, so let's tack on another $50 for gas expenses for a month.
This means I need $950 to get started in my new job. I have food taken care of, and housing is sketchy but present, but I have no way to get a vehicle if this doesn't happen. I would bike, but the tutoring sessions are close enough to one another that the company requires a vehicle.
As before, if you are interested in making a low-interest loan for part of this money, please message me. I do not want to be a leech or mooch. I promise I will pay this kindness forward. But I also desperately want to start producing value in our society, and just need this last leg up to do so.
