Yoko, a worker/owner at The Cheeseboard Collective in Berkeley, needs our help. A month ago Yoko’s husband, Jake, tested positive for Covid and has been in the ICU on a ventilator ever since his diagnosis. Jake remains critical and his recovery has been very slow. 

As a two income family Yoko finds herself struggling financially to make ends meet to support herself and their 10 year daughter Rina. For Yoko, a food service professional, any medical emergency can turn into a financial nightmare.
