Mitchell was caught in the middle of being robbed and his jeep being stolen out of his garage. When his first instinct was to try and protect his property he grabbed a hold of the luggage rack above the driver side window as the jeep was pulling out. The driver sped a quarter mile at approximately 65-75mph dragging Mitchell as he had nowhere to rest his feet. Mitchell decided to let go at the turn knowing this would be the opportunity with the slowest speed. When the thief made the turn he ran over Mitchell. Mitchell has sustained many injuries, a broken arm, wounds and road rash and has appointments this upcoming week that may result in additional surgeries on his rotator cuff and the knee that was ran over. He is unable to walk easily due to his feet being so raw. We are not sure of how long he will be out of work due to recovery time but we would love to give him a little peace of mind. If you feel led to give please know He would be eternally grateful. Thank You so much!
We just spoke to the police. His case is open but has not been assigned to a detective. They have no suspects and have made no arrests at this time. Please pray that the boys/men responsible for this will soon be made accountable and more importantly that Mitchell will have a full recovery.
