Help us Rebuild our Mom's home
Donation protected
As a Veteran and a son, on January 4, 2018, I watched a life time (47 years) of memories vanish in a single evening in a house fire. Standing like a spectator in a dream, I watched my mother’s life’s work disappear. I cried. For the first time, I was helpless to help my mother. As I stood there, visions of my childhood flashed before my eyes, and I saw my mother walking across the railroad tracks to work because she didn’t have a car. For 35 years she worked at Union Camp, Inc. to provide for her nine children. Now at age 82, she has lost everything she had worked so hard for.
My mother has always been a God fearing and strong woman. When her home burned down her only words were: “The Lord Giveth, and the Lord taketh it away… Blessed be the Name of the Lord.”
Help us help our Mom to start a new beginning… we don’t know how long we have with her but our hope is to put her back in her own home. Thank you in advance for your generosity and your thoughts and prayers, and please share this GoFundMe page with your contacts.
Sincerely,
