Today, on Christmas Day—a day meant for joy, family, and celebration—our world was shattered.

We received the devastating call that our beloved father-in-law, Sergey Demenko Smith, was found unresponsive in his semi truck in Vancouver, Washington. The pain and shock of this loss are beyond words. What should have been a day filled with love and laughter has become one of profound heartbreak.

Sergey was a hardworking man who spent countless hours on the road providing for his family and doing everything he could to take care of the people he loved. He was deeply loved, and his sudden passing has left our family completely heartbroken and unprepared—emotionally and financially.

As his daughter-in-law, Marina Demenko, I am reaching out on behalf of our family to ask for any help you may be able to give.
