We’re raising funds to help us launch all the amazing support we have planned for FND Together We Rise CIC.

Our brand new Community Interest Company created to support people living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), and the people who support them.

Living with FND, I know first hand how confusing, overwhelming, and isolating it can be, not just for the person diagnosed, but for families, partners, and carers too.

The impact it’s had on my own life and my families is what pushed us to stop waiting for change and start creating it!

Myself, my Mum who is a qualified counsellor and wellness coach, my sister who works in mental health field and is a psychology student have all committed to making FND Together We Rise CIC provide the highest quality of awareness, support & education.

FND is complex and often misunderstood. Too many people are left feeling unheard, unsupported, and alone.

We believe that has to change!

FND Together We Rise will offer safe, accessible, supportive spaces where people affected by FND can connect, learn, and feel genuinely understood.

We have already begun collecting lots of data, raising awareness and planning fundraising events. We are all working hard behind the scenes creating structure and content for ongoing support and education.

Our Vision

To build a society in which people affected by Functional Neurological Disorder are understood, supported, and empowered.

What We’re Building:-

1. Online Support Communities via an accessible app platform. Providing support, education, nervous system regulation, breath work and wellness.

We’re building two dedicated online support spaces:

• One for people living with FND

• One for those supporting someone with FND

These spaces will offer peer support, clear and accessible information, live and pre recorded content designed to reduce isolation, build confidence, and remind people they’re not alone.

2. Our FND Podcast

We’re launching a podcast focused on real, honest conversations about life with FND, the good, the hard, and everything in between.

This will include:

• People living with FND sharing their lived experiences

• Carers and supporters telling their side of the journey

• Open conversations that challenge stigma and build understanding

What we need help with..

To help us get this off the ground, we need help to cover essential start-up costs, including:

• Filming and audio equipment

• Lighting and basic editing tools

• Printed awareness and fundraising materials, such as banners and leaflets.

• Hire an accessible recording space

• Cover essential recording and production costs

Every penny raised will go directly into launching and delivering the work of FND Together We Rise CIC.

Your support will help us build a strong, sustainable platform from the very start, one that truly supports people affected by FND.

Our initial goal is £5,000 to assist covering some start-up costs.

Anything raised beyond that will allow us to grow faster and reach even more people who need this support.
