Help us help the World - Marcello & Olivia

One day, in December 2018, Marcello was reading a book, back in Canada, at Orde Street Public School, when he learned that the endangered forests in the world were actually putting the WHOLE WORLD in jeopardy! In his 8 years old mind, there was only one thing to do... SAVE THE FORESTS!!! And in the same day he started a campaign at his school, his mates from room # 12 led by his speech and one other friend, raised $8.76!

With all this going on, and a trip to Brazil planned, his parents included a visit to the project SOS Mata Atlântica (http://www.sosma.org.br/en/) in the city of Itu, Sao Paulo, where he, and his Brazilian friend Olivia, had learned all they could about the rain forests in Brazil, in particular about the Mata Atlântica.

From that, the idea of planting a "soccer field" with trees was a SNAP!

And here we are, at this EARTH DAY, starting our campaign!

Each tree costs to the project R$ 30.00 (around $8.00)... So we will raise funds to plant AT LEAST 2,000 trees... the most the better!!!
