Our beloved Roger Munyaburanga — a devoted husband, father of five beautiful children, and only 39 years old — suffered a massive stroke on February 24. After emergency brain surgery at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, he fell into a coma and has not yet regained consciousness.

Two weeks ago, we were able to bring him closer to home, transferring him to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he continues to receive critical care.

His wife, Marie, and their children are holding onto hope with everything they have. Roger Munyaburanga’s strength and spirit have always been the heart of their family — and now, they need him more than ever.
