Dear friends and community,

My name is Lily, and I need to ask for your support in helping me and my friend Nico move in together for safety. We are two trans women currently living alone in Canada- I am in Manitoba and need to make my way over to Ontario where she lives. It’s a long way, so it’s an expensive journey.

Living alone has been scary and difficult. As such, it has been extremely rough on our mental health- both me and Nico have been struggling to make ends meet. So, unfortunately, we can’t come up with the funds we would need on our own. I know times are rough, but we need your help to have a fighting chance at a better future.

I need help to cover transportation costs, paperwork fees, and moving costs, as well as my half of rent and other living expenses until I can find work in Ontario. Once I am established in my new home with my friend by my side, life will be so much safer and brighter.
