When we were in fifth grade, a school shooting occurred at Mount Tabor High School, and a student lost their life. Growing up, we began hearing more and more about how emergencies and acts of violence were becoming increasingly common in our communities. While there is only so much we can control, we can control how prepared we are when tragedy strikes. That realization became the foundation for TREAT (Trauma Readiness for Every Adult & Teen, Inc.), a student-led nonprofit organization dedicated to improving community emergency preparedness by increasing access to trauma kits and lifesaving education.
We believe that communities should have access to lifesaving resources and the knowledge needed to act during the critical moments before emergency responders arrive. Funds raised through this campaign will directly support TREAT’s mission of expanding access to trauma readiness resources and lifesaving education. Donations will help us purchase and assemble trauma kits, obtain critical medical supplies, create educational materials, and support community outreach efforts. Trauma kits contain specialized supplies designed for life-threatening emergencies, but their cost can create a barrier for many individuals, schools, businesses, and community organizations. TREAT was created to bridge this gap by making trauma preparedness resources more accessible and ensuring that safety is not limited by affordability.
We invite you to join us in building safer, more prepared communities. Every donation, share, and word of support helps TREAT bring lifesaving resources and education to more people who need them. Together, we can help ensure that when emergencies happen, more individuals have the tools and confidence to act. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us make trauma readiness accessible to everyone.
