Help Tom Hart and Family
** Update ** as of 8/19 AM, we have closed the account from accepting any additional donations - although people can still submit any comments about Tom that they would like to share. Our plan is to submit a check to Melissa at Saturday's service for Tom for the remaining funds. If you would still like to make a donation, the family communicated that any donations be made in Tom’s name to either the Tonto Search & Rescue, (www.trsar.org) located near Pine AZ, or to the Take Pride Project in Pine & Strawberry, AZ that is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty and western heritage of the Rim Country (Take Pride, PO Box 1204, Pine AZ 85544). The family chose these organizations because they spent so much quality time together at their mountain cabin in Pine, Arizona. Tom loved the cabin where he was able to enjoy their family time in beautiful natural surroundings, where he felt most at peace and closest to his God.
** Update ** It was with great sadness that I share that Tom Hart passed away yesterday. We will all miss him tremendously!!! I am going to leave this site active in case additional people want to send notes / provide donations. For now, we are looking to help the family with
providing support by helping them do pool mtce and bringing on a food service, etc. When it is more appropriate in the near future, we'll get more specifics on how the family wants to proceed and will update everyone via this site. Thanks to everyone for the generous donations and very kind notes!!!!
Tom Hart has been with Honeywell for 25+ years. He has done tremendous work to help Honeywell achieve financial and business objectives during his career but much, much more importantly Tom has consistently been a friend, a mentor, and a coach and he has always treated everyone with fairness, integrity, respect, and kindness. Now that Tom is not feeling well, it is our chance to show how much Tom means to us by helping him, his wife (Melissa), and his 2 sons (Alex, 24 and Austin,19) in this difficult time.
