Help the Shah Family Rebuild After Fire

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

On August 1st, our lives were dramatically disrupted when a fire broke out in our building. While our unit fortunately did not experience direct fire damage, the intense smoke has caused significant harm to our home. We’re still uncertain about the full extent of the damage and may need to replace much of what we own. However, we won’t know for sure until we’re allowed to return.

In the meantime, we’ve been unable to go back home, and as a family of five, we’re finding it increasingly difficult to keep moving between temporary housing options. The strain of house hopping and staying in hotels is taking a toll on us emotionally and financially.

We are reaching out to our community for support as we navigate this challenging time. Any donation, big or small, will make a significant difference in helping us secure stable accommodation, replace essential belongings, and cover unexpected expenses.
