Help the Allard Family Get Heat Before Winter Hits.

With the winter months approaching, the air is only getting colder. Currently, my boyfriend’s family, their dog, and I are without heat because of financial hardships in recent times.

Recently, Scott fell off a 20ft ladder, resulting in a shattered knee and his leg being broken in two places. He spent 10 days in the hospital in wait before having major surgery to fix this leg. This was not on the job so there is no pay or workers compensation while he is healing, and he has to wait for his TDI application to be accepted — which can take weeks. In the mean time bills — including medical — are adding up. During recovery, he will need extensive physical therapy which will also require a Co-pay for each visit, so every little bit will help and is greatly appreciated.

Until successfully paying off all of the debt, the gas company refuses to turn the service back on, leaving us with little time before we also have to turn the water off to avoid frozen pipes and water damage. We were trying our best to save up to pay it off, but with the recent severe injury and surgery in the household, the income has been impacted and we are unable to put enough away to pay it off before the “winter” weather starts.
