Help Teddy Graham Get a Bigger Enclosure

Hi I'm Tom and I work at the Meriden Humane Society with the cats. We have over 50 cats in house and many in foster care. We don't just take the easy/pretty kitties, we also take cats that need a bit of work because we believe all cats deserve a chance at a home! We are a nonprofit charity primarily staffed by volunteers and rely solely on donations, we do not receive any funding from the city or state.

One of our volunteers Tess and I would like to raise money to get Teddy Graham a larger enclosure at the shelter. Teddy Graham (TG) is the gorgeous tabby and white kitty in the picture. You see, TG is a very smart cat so he gets bored and is easily over stimulated. Unfortunately because of this he gets frustrated with the other cats and sometimes us humans caring for him, and his command of the English isn't so good so when he gets annoyed sometimes he bites. We hope to find TG an understanding family that will give him the space and mental stimulation to live his best life, but in the meantime for safety and liability reasons TG mostly stays in his cage (staff let's him out for supervised playtime when possible).

Tess offered to purchase a larger enclosure for Teddy Graham if I would help put it together and I suggested we do a fundraiser so we could get something nice and/or if we raise enough money, who knows, maybe even get a couple of bigger enclosures for our kitties that need a bit of space and don't always play well with others.

Will you consider donating for this cause? I will attach some cute pics of the cat in question and some ideas we have for the enclosure. Ideally it needs to be something we can clean frequently and something that will last in a shelter environment. Thanks for reading!
