Help Team USA Bobsledder from Texas
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Collin Storms. You may not know that most Team USA Bobsledders are 90% self funded. I receive $150 a month from the team, which is obviously not enough to pay for travel, food, housing, and equipment through out the season and for living and training when I’m back home. Because I am not funded by the team, I have to pay for expenses myself or through donations from sponsors to be able to compete for Team USA. Traveling to Europe, even North America, for races is very expensive for flights, housing, and food. Since I have to be physically present for work, I am not able to work remotely when I’m on the road away from training and racing, so everything I make when I’m back home ends up being used on bobsledding. I’m looking for help to get me through the rest of the season and to support my journey to try and make the Olympic team in 2026. So far I have been to 3 North American Cup races and just competed in my first World Cup race and Europe Cup races in Switzerland and now I’m competing in Austria for my second Europe Cup race. As a rookie, all of this is very new to me and I will be doing my best to find funding from sponsors for the next two seasons to try and qualify for Olympic year.
Thank you for everyone who donates because without your help, I wouldn’t be able to continue my journey as an athlete doing what I love which is competing.
