I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of one of my closest friends, Tammy, who suffered a heartbreaking loss on May 7, 2025. Tammy’s home was destroyed in a house fire, and along with it, she lost her two beloved cats—Stella and Ash.

I met Tammy through our work as law enforcement officers in Columbia, SC. From the start, Tammy stood out as a fierce, compassionate, and dedicated friend. She brings that same passion to her role as a public servant—tirelessly fighting for justice and being a voice for the vulnerable in our community.

Tammy has spent her entire adult life putting others first, answering calls for help, and making sacrifices to protect and serve. Now, in the wake of this traumatic event, I’m asking for help on her behalf. She has lost so much, and now it’s our turn to show up for her.

This fundraiser will help cover Tammy’s immediate needs: clothing, food, household supplies, pet memorials, and the costs of creating a new, safe place to call home. The emotional, physical, and financial toll of rebuilding after such loss is immense—but with your support, Tammy won’t have to face it alone.
