Help Support the Loved Ones of Rachel Prince

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Rachel Prince - a devoted mother, daughter, sister, friend, and CCS art teacher - who tragically lost her life on July 12, 2025 as a victim of domestic violence.

Rachel was the embodiment of kindness and compassion. She served as an art teacher at The Charles for over 8 years and Marion Franklin H.S. for the last 2. Her family, friends, and students will remember her for her dedication to spreading love and warmth through art.

Rachel has left behind 2 children. Isaac, 11, and Anna, 9. Isaac and Anna are engaged in multiple extra curricular activities including soccer, chorus, band, and a youth program. They have played an integral part in making their youth program into an accepting and welcoming environment for all of their peers.

Please help us in honoring Rachel and supporting her children through this incredibly difficult time. Their family is in dire need of financial assistance so their father, Robert Prince, can acquire a car and a residential space big enough for all of them together. All donations will go directly to her children to ensure they are in a thriving environment with grief counseling for this tragedy they are forced to endure. There will be a candlelight vigil held by her students from The Charles, this Sunday, July 20th in Gooddale Park at 1:00 PM.

There will be a balloon release Monday, July 21st at 6:00 PM at Marion Franklin High School.
