Help support the Davis family after a devastating fire

In the early hours of last night around 3:30 a.m. Tyler and Nancy Davis, along with their children Mack 5, and Emma 3, (and their 2 dogs) tragically lost their home and everything in it to a fire in Monteagle.

Thankfully, everyone made it out safely although it was a like playing out a worst nightmare getting across the house ablaze, to their young children, fast asleep in their beds.

This was their brand-new home a place they’d spent the last two years putting in the hours building after work and weekends, friends helping, family watching kids, both working… making their forever home, working on a budget, sweat, sacrifices, and countless long hours.

A home they were so proud of. A home we were all so excited for them to move into just months ago.

The fire broke out on the exterior of their home (source unknown - no bbq or obvious things) the sound of a patio door/ext window blowing up quickly jolted them to wake, come to, and run across the house to the kids rooms and grab their children and get out with only what they had on their backs, and in ONLY in the nick of time.

They left without their shoes, without their glasses, without anything but each other… a powerful reminder that, in the face of tragedy, people are what matter most.

Tyler and Nancy are friends and family to so many in our community always there to help, support, and lift up their friends and neighbour’s in need.

Now it’s OUR turn to show up for them.
