Hi my name is Lucy and I’m asking for support for my goddaughter and her family.

Just over a week ago one family’s world was rocked and tipped upside down.

My goddaughter Kora became seriously unwell and was unable to eat or drink. We rushed her into hospital where tests quickly confirmed a very rare and difficult medical condition that requires specialist care far from home.

The family are doing everything they can however the travel, parking and accommodation costs are becoming overwhelming.

Living so far away from the specialist care needed means long journeys for the family and time off work which is all adding to the stress and worry for them. They have been told this will be a long road to recovery and so this is obviously causing so much stress when all they want to do is support their poorly child.

Those of you who know Kora and her wonderful family will know she is usually such an active and happy child who loves her horses and so not being able to ride and being so far away from her beloved stables is just awful for her. Your help and support will ease some of the worry and allow her family to remain by her side without financial worry while she takes the slow road to recovery.
