Campaign Update

We are deeply grateful for every person who has supported Axel’s family through this campaign. With the family’s blessing, this fundraiser has transitioned to support the newly established Bubby’s World Foundation. Rather than directing future donations to the family personally, all proceeds will now be used to honor Axel’s legacy by supporting children with autism, their families, autism safety initiatives, and acts of kindness in our communities.

The family’s wish is that Axel’s light continues to change lives for generations to come.

Thousands of people searched, prayed, volunteered, and stood beside his family, hoping for a miracle. Although our hearts were broken by the outcome, the overwhelming love shown to Axel and his family revealed something extraordinary—that even in unimaginable loss, kindness has the power to unite us.

Today, with the blessing and vision of Axel’s family, we are honored to announce the creation of Bubby’s World Foundation.

Rather than simply remembering Axel, we want to continue the mission he inspired.

As Axel’s father, Logan, beautifully shared:

“He gave us this mission to continue what he wanted to do—to make this world a sweeter, more kind place and to help others who were like him.”

Those words have become the foundation of everything we hope to accomplish.

Bubby’s World Foundation exists to honor Axel’s life by bringing hope, support, and kindness to families who need it most.

Where Your Donations Go

Every donation made through this campaign will directly support the mission of Bubby’s World Foundation, including:

Providing support, resources, and assistance for children with autism and their families.

Raising awareness about autism and helping educate communities about elopement (wandering) prevention and safety.

Supporting initiatives that improve the safety and well-being of children with special needs.

Funding random acts of kindness for families facing unexpected hardship, because sometimes a small act of compassion can change someone’s entire world.

Developing future programs, educational resources, and community partnerships that carry Axel’s legacy forward.
