Help Stephanie make great memories for her kids

It’s with a very heavy and sad heart that this update comes with nothing but sad news. The cancer has metastasized to her brain and she has been given roughly 3-6 months to live. I ask for anyone reading this to please give what you can, so that Stephanie, Brandon, Addy and Graysyn can spend what time they have left together just being together and not have to worry about bills thank you Jennifer

Monday Jan 13, Graysyn’s Birthday, she was in such immense pain she went to the ER in Spearfish. They discovered a blood clot and a mass on the Right lung. Jan 14 met with oncology/cancer center team and learned that the “mass” is most likely the triple negative breast cancer spreading.

Brain scan, lung biopsy, PET scan done that week. Tears and prayers said by many from Montana, Arizona, and South Dakota. We are very blessed.

Thankfully Stephanie’s liver, spleen kidneys, Brain and bones are all clear.

METASTIC TRIPLE NEGATIVE BREAST CANCER!!

The cancer is currently in her blood stream traveling. In her right lung, and internal memory lymph node right side. Stephanie started xeloda last night after appointment. A chemotherapy drug that will “control/manage the cancer from spreading” It will not kill/dissolve the tumors, she will be on this or something like this FOREVER>

Reason for Go Fund Me~

According to her oncologist who is wonderful, there is an immunotherapy drug, that will shrink/kill the tumors. She had positive results from Taxol the first time around, (unfortunately, it can only be given a limited amount in your lifetime. She has been given that amount the first go around) insurance does not cover the drug, $10,000 per infusion! She needs it every 3 weeks! For how long we don’t know.

Her oncologist has submitted her on a “Charity list” to see if Monument Health in Rapid South Dakota will pay for any of the fee’s.

That is why we are asking for any help getting some Immunotherapy in Stephanie to stop this horrible disease progression.

Being her mother, I have already looked for things to sell, credit cards, loans, borrowing money anything to save my girl. I cannot image this world without her, certainly my world, her person Big Brandon, her daughter Addy and son Graysyn need her every day. Let’s get real, that is not going to cover all this cost. BUT if we all can help it adds up and maybe she can get a few infusions while waiting for the charity to come thru for the remainder. We appreciate your kindness, generosity, love, support and prayers

amazingly tonight we learned that the fee for the immunotherapy will be covered she starts IV therapy Monday at 10:15 am!!!

Any funds raised will go towards Stephanie’s gas and expenses driving 40 miles each way for treatment and meals and home expenses, and hopefully a play date or two for Addy and Graysyn .

Stephanie wanted to share a little update with y'all. Thank you for continuing to have her in your thoughts and prayers On April 25th I was diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative breast cancer (invasive ductal carsonoma). This is an aggressive cancer that we luckily caught before it spread elsewhere. I am currently doing chemotherapy. I have 4 rounds(3 left as of now) of some strong stuff that we hope is going to shrink the tumor. After those 4 rounds I will switch and do 4 more rounds of a different chemotherapy medicine. In the mean time we are awaiting genetic testing results as well, which could change surgery plans(more sugery=full historictomy)After the chemotherapy I will have a double mastectomy with reconstruction surgery at the same time. At the time of surgery it will be known whether I will need to do chemotherapy again or proceed with 5 weeks of everyday radiation! Long road ahead of me but I have so many people behind me I know we will get through this!
