Help Stephanie Jaeger with medical bills

Hi, my name is Barbara Capune. I’m Stephanie’s best friend.

I wanted to give everyone an UPDATE on Stephanie. She has been working on getting things in order before her surgery. I will be staying at Stephanie’s house to take care of her mom, Maggie while Steph is in the hospital then I will remain there to take care of both of them when Stephanie is discharged. Another friend will come out from California the 1st of June to stay with Maggie and Steph for a couple of weeks. I’m putting together a way people can sign up to visit Maggie/Stephanie for a couple of hours so those who are staying overnight can get some breaks. I’ll keep you updated when that is finalized. Stephanie will be doing her blood work next week, then another MRI on 04/23/23. On 04/28/23 she will have a Covid test and will have to stay home until she enters the hospital on May 1, 23. I’ll continue to keep you updated when I know anything else. Thank you my friends! I’m fundraising and asking for your help for my best friend Stephanie Jaeger. She has recently been diagnosed with a large brain tumor and will be having a major surgery on May 3, 2023. The surgery will take place at the University of New Mexico hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Stephanie started noticing symptoms a few months ago, blurry vision, horrible headaches, and dropping things. Her doctor recommended an MRI, and they found a large (the size of a lemon) tumor in the center of her brain. This has been an overwhelming, stressful and scary time for Stephanie. She has helped so many people over the years, which included taking care of her husband, Paul in the final years of his life, and has been her mothers caregiver for the past six years. This situation has been a shock to all who know her. Stephanie is on disability and therefore has limited funds. She only has Medicare which will only cover 80% of her surgery, we can’t even imagine what 20% of brain surgery will be… worth every penny; but A LOT. any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
